We may have more in common than you first thought. Perhaps you’re sitting like I am now. Maybe what happened to me has happened to you. Well, I hope you had a better experience than I did.

Us Too: Alisha’s Story is a compelling film co-created with women from the #UsToo group in Devon and Cornwall. It brings to screen the real-life experiences of women with learning disabilities and/or autism who have courageously reported sexual assault or rape to the police. This powerful story challenges misconceptions and highlights the strength of resilience and the pursuit of justice. When asked what outcome they wanted, they answered: To be heard.

Us Too: Alisha’s Story was created 2022 in partnership with Durham and Sunderland Universities and with ARC England.
