We were thrilled to commission international photo journalist Phyllis Christopher to work with some of the young women who took part in the Jumping Puddles project on a series of portrait photographs.
As this project progressed it became more of a collaboration and many of the photographs were taken by the young women of each other. The resulting exhibition forms a series of powerful portraits documenting young women from marginalised communities in the North East of England and Liverpool in the early 21st Century.
