Open Clasp continue to stand in solidarity with sex workers globally and firmly believe that Decriminalisation of sex work makes people safer. On the 17th December, we remember all our co-creators and their allies who created our play and film, Mycelial, which highlights the impact of the Nordic Model, and the violence they have experienced and the loved ones they have lost. This year, we think of all those in Ireland who have lost the vital service of Sex Workers Alliance Ireland. SWAI has closed its doors due to a lack of funding. This is a huge loss for sex workers on the island of Ireland who live under the Nordic Model, systemic barriers and increased violence. We will continue to be an ally and champion the rights of sex workers locally and globally.
