Open Clasp are recruiting for two roles in the organisation. It is an exciting time to be joining us at Open Clasp as we are at the start of developing our most ambitions production to date- The Elswick Project.
We are committed to our vision of achieving gender justice for women and girls and the role of both the Finance and Operations Manager as well as a Freelance Marketing Officer will support us on our mission of changing the world one play at a time.
The Finance and Operations Manager will support the Executive Director and wider team in ensuring organisational effectiveness and compliance in financial and operational matters. This will include but not limited to; budget development and management, annual accounts audit, processing payments, supporting with fundraising, and/or reporting activities and stakeholder management. This role also requires the employee to ensure the effective running of the organisation’s operations including supporting the wider team with IT and software use, managing suppliers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and GDPR.
The Marketing Officer (Freelance) will lead and support marketing and communications activity for Open Clasp Theatre Company, helping to raise the profile of our work nationally. This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of theatre to drive social change and can communicate our work in ways that build audiences, deepen engagement, and reflect the organisation’s values. You will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Artistic Director/ CEO and Producer to support Open Clasp’s marketing and communications, including specific strategic marketing projects that will enable us to deliver our transmedia strategy of both hyper local and digitally international marketing.
This role will also focus on specific project areas, outlined in the job pack below.
