16 Days of Activism

Date posted October 15, 2025 Posted by Carly McConnell Reading Time 1 Minute(s)

Each year, we join the global movement for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. A United Nations campaign that unites and amplifies voices across the world to end violence against women and girls. Through theatre, storytelling, and activism, we shine a light on injustice and call for revolution and lasting change.

This year, we are asking you to join the campaign by watching or sharing our production Rupture, available for purchase throughout the 16 Days of Activism. You can purchase Rupture as an individual or as part of a work place package. Rupture will also be available with BSL interpretation.

A compelling one-woman show, Rupture was developed in collaboration with women at HMP Low Newton and explores their real-life experiences of being mothers in prison. The play invites you into the world of Destiny, a mother navigating the lived reality of incarceration and motherhood.

Online viewing available from 25th November 2025.
