‘I have worked with Roma for the past 20years, Roma is family to Open Clasp and we are delighted and proud that Roma is joining our team of Associate Artists’- Catrina McHugh
Roma is a UK based composer & sound designer for a variety of projects ranging from mid – large scale theatre to large scale events, film and television.
Roma is a long term collaborator with Open Clasp theatre company having designed sound and written music for Key Change, Rattle Snake, Mycelial, Sugar and Lasagna and sound designed their recent show Rupture. Other theatre and event work includes Score and sound design for The White Card at Northern Stage, Sound design for I, Daniel Blake (Tiny Dragon at Northern Stage), original score for Aerial event Resurgam (Bandaloop/GDIF) which saw dancers perform on the south facade of St Paul’s Cathedral and the original score for the Opening event of last year’s Edinburgh International Festival (Pinwheel Arts), performed by the Scottish Session Orchestra.
Roma is currently working with Greenwich + Docklands International Festival, Graeae Theatre Company as well as scoring a BBC3 comedy short and feature films Red Riding and Premature. www.romayagnik.co.uk
