Together, we’ve written to the leaders of the four main political parties to demand whoever forms the next government creates a standalone Secretary of State for Women and Girls.
Women and girls across Britain are facing significant disadvantage spanning every area of government: health, housing, social care, the criminal justice system, education and immigration.
They need a champion at the highest level of government who can give them the attention they deserve, and drive forward the policy change they desperately need.
