Artistic opportunity for an Assistant Director at Open Clasp Theatre Company for new production, Mycelial, in association with Northern Stage

About You  

You will have a desire to advocate for social justice with a passion for creating feminist theatre. This opportunity is for an experienced assistant director or director (you will have assisted a director or directed professionally to date at least once) based in the North East of England. Our co-creators, cast and creative team include women, trans women, intersex and non-binary people; therefore, you will be able to support in creating a safe and welcoming space.

Mycelial is rooted in the true voices of lived experience. We are looking to work with an assistant director who shares an interest in connecting with the issues underpinning the work, including whorephobia, transphobia, austerity, racism and homophobia.
