The journey of Key Change continues!
Originally commissioned by Dilly Arts in 2014, the show has gone on to tour the UK, win the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award, be the NY Times Critics Pick during it’s New York run and was watched online around the world through The Space commission.
In 2017, we were approached by director Sam Lavin, asking if Key Change could be produced in Los Angeles by the Collective Studios who make theatre for social change.
“What I most respected about Sam throughout the whole process was that she wanted to ensure that the Key Change they were creating in Los Angeles was in keeping with what the women from Low Newton Prison had wanted to see, that their voices were being represented as they had intended them to be.” Catrina McHugh MBE, writer of Key Change and Open Clasp’s Artistic Director
