We’re delighted to announce that our new play Rattle Snake will be co-produced with Live Theatre Newcastle, in association with York Theatre Royal for a tour in the Autumn (including a week at Soho Theatre).
Rattle Snake is an epic tale, based on real life stories of women who have faced and survived coercive controlling domestic abuse.
“Rattle Snake was originally commissioned to train police officers in coercive control in domestic abuse back in 2015. Officers sat in bullet proof vests daring us to make an impact and we did. It was a total honour to collaborate with the women who inspired the story. Rattle Snake is important theatre that takes your breath away and changes lives and we are delighted to be working with Live Theatre and York Theatre Royal to ensure it reaches a wider audience.” — Catrina McHugh, Writer and Artistic Director.
