Producing and touring pieces of entertaining, funny, thought-provoking and relevant theatre to a wide variety of venues is a large part of what Open Clasp does. You can find out how Open Clasp's plays are created here

Most years, Open Clasp tour a professional show, predominantly in the North East region and sometimes beyond, usually between February and April.
The plays produced by Open Clasp are not only entertaining but also address a wide variety of social issues in an engaging and accessible way. The performances, which can also be immediately followed by drama workshops at community venues, are a really effective way to raise awareness of important and difficult issues with your service users and/ or members of your community. This can happen by hosting your own performance - we can take the professional theatre experience to most large halls with a high ceiling, level access and a good electricity supply - or by taking a group to see the show at a mainstream venue.
