25th November is International Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women. To mark this Open Clasp have been working on In Our Shoes.

Open Clasp were commissioned by SixtyEightyThirty in Hexham to run a series of drama workshops in order to prepare for the “In Our Shoes” conference in November 2010. The group developed three five minute performance pieces to demonstrate how they experience service providers, along with accompanying drama workshops to enable the conference audience to find a “better” way of working with the women. SixtyEightyThirty provides practical and emotional support for women who are resident in Northumberland and have experienced Domestic Abuse at any point in their lives.
